1. Introduction
Curious Logic LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Mogul Rising mobile application. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our website at curiouslogicstudio.com and when you play our mobile game. When you use these services, you agree to the practices described here.
We may collect limited technical information when you browse the Site (for example, browser type and standard server logs) to operate and secure the site. If you email us, we use your message and contact details only to respond and to keep records as the law allows.
2. Data collection & local storage
No user accounts. You do not need an account with us to play. Your game progress (including token balances and statistics) is stored on your device and may sync through your platform’s cloud services—iCloud on Apple devices or Google Play backup and account features on Android—according to Apple’s and Google’s respective terms and your settings.
Minimal collection. We design Mogul Rising to collect as little personally identifiable information as reasonably possible; what we do collect is tied mainly to ads and platform defaults, as explained below.
3. Advertising & age-gating logic
We use Google AdMob to serve ads in Mogul Rising. For wider context on how Google processes ad-related data, see Google’s Privacy Policy, Advertising technologies, and our Site’s app-ads.txt file for authorized digital sellers.
Age verification. We run an internal age check (which may incorporate platform-provided signals where available) before we decide which ad experience to serve.
Default-to-safety. If a player does not provide a birth year, or if our age-verification step does not return a reliable adult result, we treat that user as a child for ad and privacy purposes.
Child-directed treatment. For users we identify as children (or default as children under the rule above), we configure the Google Mobile Ads SDK to:
- avoid collecting the IDFA (iOS) or Advertising ID (Android) for ad personalization;
- serve only non-personalized, family-friendly advertisements;
- apply requests consistent with Google’s child-directed and under-age-of-consent settings, including SDK options such as
tagForChildDirectedTreatmentandtagForUnderAgeOfConsentas documented by Google for your build.
4. Third-party data & residency (2026 compliance)
4.1. AdMob SDK
Google AdMob may collect technical data (such as IP address and device model) to measure ad delivery and prevent abuse. On Apple devices, the IDFA may be used only when iOS privacy settings permit and when our age logic classifies the user as an adult; child-defaulted flows limit IDFA-related use as described above.
4.2. Data residency & global processing
Curious Logic LLC is based in the United States and primarily processes data within that jurisdiction. However, because we use global third-party infrastructure such as Google AdMob, some information (including hashed identifiers or technical metadata) may be processed in other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
All such cross-border processing is conducted in accordance with our service providers’ Data Processing Amendments (DPA) and recognized international data transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses), ensuring a level of protection equivalent to United States federal and state privacy standards.
4.3. Data sovereignty & sales
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for automated profiling intended to produce legal or similarly significant effects that would conflict with applicable consumer-privacy law.
5. Children’s privacy (COPPA)
Mogul Rising is rated for ages 8+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate parental consent. If we determine a user is under 13, or if age is unknown after our default-to-safety rules, tracking is disabled by default for ad personalization as described in Section 3.

6. Your rights & choices
iOS. You can manage app tracking preferences under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and related Privacy & Security controls (such as Apple Advertising).
Opt-out & access. Residents of jurisdictions with 2026-era consumer privacy laws may have rights to access, delete, or correct certain data we hold. Because we do not operate mandatory in-app accounts, most on-device game data can be removed by uninstalling Mogul Rising or clearing app storage on your device; email us if you need help with requests that involve our records or service providers.
